Coverless doesn't collect, store, or transmit any data. It doesn't have a server, an account system, or analytics. Everything it does happens locally, inside your browser.
Coverless runs only on music.youtube.com. It hides album art, thumbnails, and profile pictures on the page using local CSS and DOM rules — the same kind of thing a browser's built-in reader mode or content blocker does. It never modifies, uploads, or reads the content of pages other than that one.
None. Specifically, Coverless does not:
Your on/off preferences for each toggle (track art, account picture, blurred backgrounds, etc.)
are saved using Safari's standard browser.storage.local API. This data stays on your
device — synced only via your own iCloud Keychain/Safari sync if you have that enabled at the OS
level — and is never sent to us or any third party.
Coverless requests host access to music.youtube.com only. That access is used exclusively to apply the CSS/DOM rules described above.
